About Meskla Bistro!

Meskla Chamoru Fusion Bistro first opened its doors for business in March of 2009, and is located in Hagatna, the Capitol of Guam. Corporate Executive Chef and Owner, Peter Duenas – a Native Chamorro of Guam and Host of the popular local TV series – Outdoor Chef, wanted to bring Chamoru Cuisine to the forefront of Guam’s dining options. Chef Peter, a classically trained chef who worked in renown Restaurants, Hotels, and Resort Chains for over 25 years, decided to open the first ever of its kind, a “Chamoru Fusion Bistro.” Fusion…hence the name Meskla. Derived from the Spanish word Mezcla, meaning “to mix” or “mixture”. At Meskla, you can expect to enjoy island hospitality at its finest and a true taste of modern Chamoru Cuisine…a taste of local home traditions but with a fusion of flavors and style. With an 85 seat capacity, Meskla boasts a modern big city bistro feel with a comfortable and homelike atmosphere. In addition to in-house dining, Meskla offers additional services such as Catering, Private Events, Cakes and Pastries for all occasions.
